Veesion is a pioneering company in in-store theft detection solutions. We leverage advanced AI and video analysis to help retailers protect their assets and optimize operations. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Lead Developer Python to guide our technical team and enhance our backend architecture.

Your Mission:
- Take technical leadership in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable architectures.

- Ensure adherence to best coding practices, performing rigorous code reviews, and mentoring developers.

- Lead decision-making processes and effectively communicate technical choices to the team.

- Generate team alignment by defending ideas and fostering a strong technical culture.

- Work hands-on with Python and Django to develop high-performance applications.

- Optimize and architect database solutions using PostgreSQL, including SQL query optimization.

Preferred Experience

- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

- You have prior experience as a Lead Developer and can effectively mentor and guide a team.

- You are an expert in Python and Django.
- You have a strong understanding of database architectures, particularly PostgreSQL.

- You are comfortable designing SQL queries and optimizing database performance.

- You excel in technical leadership, making informed decisions, and executing them efficiently.

- You know how to advocate for best practices and inspire developers to follow them.

Recruitment Process

Screening Interview – Initial discussion with our tech recruiter.

Technical Interview – Meet Christophe & Tanguy (Head of Data & Lead Dev) for a deep dive into your experience and skills.

Technical Test – Complete a take-home challenge and review your solution with our developers.

On site interview with our CTO and also meeting with our team.
